NSE Stables Boarding Rules and Regulations
A signature on the following list of policies will be required of all borders. This acknowledgment of
having read the policies and entered into a legal contract for your horses services is the first step.
The next step is to bring in your horse, then ease into and enjoy stress free horse ownership at NSE Stables.
1. All horses are required to have proof
of a negative coggins test within the last four (4) months prior to
arriving at NSE Stables.
2. All horses are required to have an
EWTF and an EHV inoculation within the last four (4) months prior to
arriving at NSE Stables.
3. All horses are required to have had a Rabies inoculation within the last year prior to arriving at NSE Stables.
4. All horses are required to be dewormed every two (2) months and kept current on all shots by the client or their
designated veterinarian. When done by owner, it must be done within 3 days of barn preventative run.
When done by owner, notification given to barn manager of date and which vaccine(s) are wormer administered.
5. Farm Call fees for our borders will be reduced from $70 to $25. After hour emergencies for our borders is reduced
from $120 to $60. There will be a $5 Charge for the
Preventative Run Farm Calls performed every two (2) months by Dr.
Krivit
6. Returned checks will require cash, cashiers checks or money orders for payment thereafter. In addition, there will be a
$30 Service Charge added to the returned check.
7. Board Payments are due on or before the first (1st) day of the
month and will be proactive. Proactive means that board is
being paid for the month ahead and not a month prior.
8. A $25 late fee will be added the tenth (10) day of the month if payments are not received prior to this date.
9. A 30 day WRITTEN and SIGNED notice is required prior to leaving NSE Stables or you will be required to make a full
months payment prior to departure.
10. Prior to departing NSE Stables and release of the contract, all outstanding veterinarian bills and farrier bills
MUST BE PAID IN FULL.
11. All farrier checks must be made out to the individual farrier.
All training checks must be made out to the individual trainer.
All lessons checks must be made out to the individual instructor.
12. It is the responsibility of all owners to make themselves aware of Chapter 99E of the North Carolina General Statues.
This Chapter 99E statue is clearly posted in the middle of the
barn. It is also the responsibility of the owner to ensure
any quests are aware of Chapter 99E.
13. It is strongly recommended by NSE stables that proper SAFETY HEAD GEAR is worn at all times while mounted on a horse.
14. Owners will at all times provide NSE Stables with a current address along with home, work or cell telephone numbers.
It is understood that all notifications will be sent to the address and or phone numbers provided by the owner. NSE Stables
must be able to contact you or your agent at all times.
15. Any increase in rates will be provided in writing by NSE Stables thirty (30) days prior to the increase.
16. I understand that NSE Stables is a Transporter Barn and on very
few occasions, my horses stall may be used for this purpose.
This extra money provides us with the funds to continue to make improvements of our facility.
17. I also acknowledge and understand that should I become over 30 days late with my board payment, NSE Stables
is authorized to take possession of my horse(s) without further
notification of such action other than this signed contract.
It is further understood that I am still financially
responsible for all board, veterinarian and/or farrier bills that are
outstanding prior to the time of NSE Stables taking possession of your horse(s).
